IBM Design Thinking: Human-centered outcomes at speed and scale

IBM, one of the world’s most enduring companies, is in the midst of a design transformation, and has recently released its design thinking framework to the world. Anchored by the infinite loop of Observe, Reflect, and Make, IBM Design Thinking is built for the speed and scale of the modern enterprise. In this workshop you will be guided by the IBM Design team in an active experience with a focus on these key principles and practices, and you’ll emerge with an understanding of how the IBM approach can help you build awesome user experiences and grow great companies.

As Lead Europe, IBM Design Education and Activation Gerhard works with IBM teams and with clients to help them understand, experience and leverage IBM Design Thinking to create innovative solutions with outstanding user experience. Lara Hanlon

Working as a Software Product Designer at IBM Design, Lara focuses on user experience and user interface design. Collaborating daily with a global team of designers and engineers, her goal is to deliver creative solutions for complex enterprise applications. Currently working on the IBM Security portfolio, Lara is also involved in educating global teams about design and regularly facilitates IBM Design Thinking workshops, both internally and externally.
